Meet Our New Web Site

Several months ago, the first version of the Kal’s Korner Online Web site made its debut. While it was "OK" for a first effort, the current design lacked several key features which are absolutely necessary if our vision of creating a truly universal online resource for everyone to use and benefit from is to be successfully achieved.

From Static to Dynamic
The current Web site is entirely coded by hand. By comparison, the new Web site is dynamic in that it has a database engine behind it, which means it now has search capability.

Key Areas - Button Menus
The new Kal’s Korner Online Web site is divided up into several major high-level categories, each of which is represented by a button menu.

A button menu is a button you press which takes you to a specific major area. Once you are there, a NavBar appears which lists the choices that are available for the section that you are visiting.

Introducing How To Say It
Several months ago, we introduced the concept of a new Web-based program we were designing which is called How To Say It.

We are pleased to announce that How to Say It is now incorporated and built into the entire Web site! :-)

How to Use How To Say It
When you want to know "how to say something" just go to the Web site and click the How To Say It button menu. After doing so, you will be taken to a screen which gives you many choices.

The chances are, how to say what you are interested in will probably be listed here. If it is NOT, please email us and we will do our best to add the right material to the database.

A New Era is Coming
Perhaps one of the most exciting things about this new Web site, is that it contains areas where everyone can collaborate and contribute content and share their genuine expertise.

A Czech man walks into the post office one day and sees and older, middle-aged man standing at the counter systematicallyputting all kinds of "Love" stamps on several big bright pink envelopes with hearts sprinkled all over them.

Next, he then takes out a bottle of perfume and starts spraying it all over the many letters.

Seeing this, the Czech man asks the elderly guy just what he is doing.

"I’m sending out 1,000 Valentine cards signed, ‘Guess who?’" the man replied.

"But why are you doing this?" asked the Czech man, who was extremely curious.

"I’m a divorce lawyer," the older man answered truthfully, with a smile.
