VŠECHNY LEKCE ZDE
Expresially for You: Expres and iDNES.cz readers AGREE this "Radar" is Best!
Understanding "What You Get"
The purpose of any proposed anti-missile defense system is, naturally, to protect the population from ballistic missile attacks. In truth, anti-missile defensive power has improved vastly over the years, so much in fact that it is now both a viable and economic option.
This is especially true where it concerns protecting people from a sudden attack by rogue nations, countries that continue to try and acquire nuclear weapons illegally, and/or build them; and to perfect their delivery mechanisms, such as missiles and launchers.
Ground Based Missile Defense
In the first Persian Gulf War, America started to use its first "Star Wars Toys" to help protect Israel, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait from missile attacks launched against it by former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
Although later analysis proved that these devices were not as accurate as originally believed, the American Patriot anti-missile missiles were an important developmental first step.
They were directly responsible for some of the key breakthroughs and tracking technologies now enjoyed today.
Airborne Laser Anti-Missle System
Currently, the Boeing Company is preparing a series of test firings of a new Iodine-based airborne laser.
Iodine lasers are a new breed of lasers derived from chemical interactions, instead of using strictly pure light.
Since the system is mounted on a Boeing aircraft, it can be dispatched anywhere to defend strategic interests. Eventually, the U.S. belives that it will be able to reduce the size of these airborne lasers so that even fighter jets and individual soldiers can use and fire them!
The Ultimate Radar Defense System
The third most desirable option for a radar defense system in the Czech Republic goes by the Top Not Secret Project name of Alternative 3.
Alternative 3 called for the original Radar prototype to gently work his way into the collective subconscious of everyone's mind, therefore earning instant sympathy and recognition when finally and officially deployed years later, not to mention an influx of totally passive emotions.
"If people feel good about Radar, they won't want to nuke us" remarked U.S. President Ronald Reagan. After successfully testing the first and only Radar prototype on the TV series M*A*S*H for 11 years, it was declared a resounding success.
However, Fox TV, which originally held all broadcast rights, got distracted by other "deep" things such as "Alien Autopsy" and Bachelor Midget Weddings TV specials, and of course, American Idol.
Readers of iDNES.cz sent us this Top Not Secret photo reminding us of the obvious.
Our thanks to Dr. Balga, Katerina, Martin and others for recognizing the BEST "Radar Defense System" which all Czechs can truly enjoy.
