When people think of Astronomy, images of stars, planets, galaxies and telescopes usually come to one’s mind. But nature’s heavenly beauty doesn’t stop with just these objects.

Nebulas are a great example: they are truly some of the most visually stunning cosmic wonders which are found throughout the universe.

Defining a Nebula
At its simplest level, a nebula is essentially a large cloud of interstellar gasses, debris and dust which can be of any composition or at any stage in development.

Some nebulas can be seen literally spewing out new worlds, while others show the results of huge explosions, cataclysmic events which take place on such a large scale that entire star systems are destroyed, just like in a science fiction movie.

In other words, nothing which goes on inside a nebula takes place on a small scale.

Here are some “tips” which might help you get out of your Chemistry class, if you ever find that you really need to:

1. About seven minutes into any test, when everyone is quiet, start yelling “My eyes!, My Eyes!”

2. Hand your classmate a glass of Liquid Nitrogen, and ask them “Does this taste ‘funny’ to you?”

3. Deny the existence of all chemicals, regardless of what anyone tells you.

4. Make sure that you always pop any plastic bags the moment your professors start mixing chemicals.
