VIDEO: Pravý Amík vyrazil do kina.

Popcorn do salu kina nepatri

A opravdovy Amik pekne cunatko!

A pochopil jsi vubec "toho cloveka, co dela errors"? A pochopil jsi, co jsem chtela rict ja???

To Dr. Bob

Where the hell are you, Bob?  Don't you think it would have been only  polite to forewarn your listeners whenever you are planning to miss even ONE, let alone ten of your video-articles?  That is not nice leaving us hanging like that, Bob ... no siree!  (Y)

This is rubrika is intended more for entertainment than structured teaching. My advice to you is don't be so quick to criticize. Relax and have some fun...

Your superior knowledge of English language should allow you to see and hear more of the nuance in between the lines.

Lasty: If you would like to send lesson plans we will be more than happy to credit you for your work.

Re: To Na rozcesti

Maybe you're right - I tend to critisize too fast. That's me. Every effort to teach us, Czechs, English is VERY MUCH appreciated (well to some extent - many native speakers think they can teach English which usually ends up as a disaster - as I can see on many of my friends' English). And I find the fun parts great!

Maybe it's not in the methodology, maybe it's about the concept and mixing several target groups together. You seem to take the elementary phrases to seriously - you repeat them, they are written on the screen, etc. And that's confusing. If I was an intermediate student I would know these phrases and wouldn't think these lessons were for me. If I was an elementary student I wouldn't understand all the things around and again - I wouldn't think these lessons were for me... So who should your audience be? What are the reactions?

Not criticizing, just telling my point of view:-P

To Dr. Bob

And your methodology? Where are you heading? You're talking to intermediate students here and suddently you teach them elementary phrases! Do you think that a person who can understand your talking wouldn't be able to ask for a "large popcorn"??? My advice would be: first learn how to teach and then teach.

Re: To Dr. Bob

Are you trying to imitate Kal Korff?  Reading this part of your sentence "understand your talking", sure brings back memories of him.  He'd always do that, on purpose, just to amuse us.  The only difference is that HIS seemingly erroneous English always turned out to be correct in the end. :-/
