Touring Pavlína’s House

As we arrived for our second Expres Dinner, we were greeted with a nice surprise welcoming ceremony, which included traditional Slivovice, Czech bread and salt. Afterwards, Pavlína Hertlová then kindly took us all on a personal tour of her newly remodeled home.

Germ free

If Pavlina is remodeling she should take a trip outside of CZ for some ideas. Your photo illustrates two things that drive visitors to CZ nuts upon entering bathrooms. First no shower curtain. A shower is more sanitary...you're not soaking in your dirt...and how in hell do Czechs shower without soaking everything in sight without a curtain or door on their tub? Second...no washcloth (or flannel as they call it in England) appears in the stack of towels. You have to scrub that dirt off...impossible with just your hand and a bar of soap. Third...The soap only loosens the scum & germs, then one has to rinse for 10 minutes to get it off. How in hell is Pavlina gonna do it? Even if she didn't care about wet floors, her towels will be soaking wet by the time she's germ free.
